Warzone Anthem Act
An act to promote communal unity and activity through the furtherment of culture
Whereas the continued survival of the United Warzone Republic requires a dedicated community and constant activity,
Recognizing one of the best ways to promote activity and growth is to foster the development of a unique cultural identity,
Noting that many prominent regions and organizations have achieved this in part by declaring a singular anthem which shall represent the values and virtues of that organization to the world at large,
Believing the virtues of independence, determinism, mutual nonaggression, and general awesomeness are greatly reflected in the popular song "Staying Alive",
It has been resolved by the nations of the Unified a Legislative Assembly and the senate of the UWR:
The official anthem and patriotic song of the Unified Warzone republic shall henceforth and forevermore be declared to be "Staying Alive" by Bees Gees
The official version of this song for all intents and purposes shall be the video at this link and that the lyrics listed therein shall serve as the official set of lyrics.
Nothing in this act shall be construed to prohibit the declaration of other anthems for constituent regions, associated organizations, or individual member nations, nor to prohibit the creation of other patriotic songs or material, so long as their mandate does not conflict directly with this act.
